AKA Architecture + Design Inc. is committed to the thoughtful process of creating architecture that responds to each unique set of challenges, responsibilities, and possibilities. The practice, founded in Whistler, is now based in the beautiful oceanfront community of Squamish and works throughout the Sea to Sky Corridor and beyond. Surrounded by mountains and wilderness, the work of AKA addresses the emerging urban scale of design. AKA crafts a genuine sense of place where buildings meet nature while engaging with people, community and the environment.

AKA has been honoured with three BC Woodworks Design Awards; Red Sky Townhomes in 2014, Interior Beauty Award in 2013 and the Tobiano Golf Clubhouse in 2009. The experience of AKA is especially unique to the Sea to Sky Corridor, from the North Shore through Pemberton, with many completed and current projects underway at various stages, from schematic design through to construction. AKA has long supported local businesses and communities, providing guidance in the process of making architecture and offering sensible and engaging solutions.
